Hillside Midwifery provides exceptional, personalized midwifery care, attending home births throughout Idaho’s Treasure Valley. Our team shares the belief that midwifery care is built on connection and trust in the natural and normal process of birth. Our midwives, Katie Shaffer, CPM, LM, and Metta Weaver, DNP, APRN, CNM, provide individualized and comprehensive care with a focus on the physical and emotional health of families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We practice evidence-based care and value informed consent in all decision-making. We offer a variety of services to help meet the unique needs of our clients, such as water birth, home birth, VBAC, telehealth GYN/reproductive healthcare, and more.
