Civil Division provides services including contract review, real estate transactions, land use planning, civil litigation, and risk management ,   Criminal Services Division responsible for business operational functions for criminal prosecution for the Office of the City Attorney ,   Provides support to the criminal attorneys in the area of criminal prosecutorial support and general legal office business ,   Criminal Division prosecutes misdemeanor and infraction offenses within Boise City limits and provides prosecution services to the City of Meridian ,   City Attorney provides legal services and advice to the Mayor, City Council, and other city departments ,   Police Advice Team provides legal training and advice to the Boise Police Department through departmental training, legal bulletins, policy review, on-call services, and consultation on general liability issues
