Excellent experience. This was my first remodel and it was extensive with us actually moving out for a full overhaul. . From design to finished product I felt informed and listened to. I couldn’t be happier with the end result and the amazing team at Sasquatch Contracting.

While the finished product looks great in photos, the journey getting there with Sasquatch Contracting was extremely stressful, frustrating, and something we would never want another homeowner to experience. We began working with them in May 2025 and were initially excited about the design process. Cabinets were scheduled for early August, which we were fine with. However, after paying half up front, communication quickly fell apart. Weeks would go by with no updates, and we repeatedly had to chase the project manager to get basic information. We were often told crews would be at our house on certain days, only to have no one show up with no notice, which cost us work time and caused major scheduling issues for our family. After confronting them multiple times about communication, reliability, and respect for our time, they became defensive to the point that the owners actually came to our house and told us if we didn’t stop getting upset about their lack of communication, we “wouldn’t like the alternative” – meaning they’d walk away mid-project. Meanwhile, several subcontractors privately mentioned delays in being paid and constant turnover, and we learned they were juggling 30+ projects with only two project managers, which explains the chaos. Payment was another huge issue. They repeatedly demanded payments for work they claimed was “complete” when it clearly was not. We refused to pay until things were actually finished — which they did not appreciate, but no customer should be paying for incomplete work. Quality problems followed. The quartz installation scratched cabinet panels badly, and instead of fixing them, they tried to cover them with a marker. We had to fight repeatedly to get panels replaced. They also called obvious paint and finish flaws “within industry standard” until we pushed hard enough to force repairs. Only then did things get somewhat addressed — still not perfectly. Meanwhile, the very few bright spots were the subcontractors who did great work: the electricians, drywall crew, and the cabinet installer/pantry builder. They deserve credit. But they were the exception, not the rule. From start to finish, the project took six months and ended in late October, even though cabinets arrived August 8 and quartz mid-August. We were originally told the job would be finished by September 12. Because of how poorly this was handled, we even had to retain a lawyer at one point. In the end, the kitchen looks nice — but the experience cost us time, money, stress, and completely robbed us of the joy most people feel after a remodel. Also in our contract it was stated that they could use our kitchen in photos as long as we got the professional photo copies they took. We have still not received any of them. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Sasquatch Contracting to manage or lead any remodel project. Poor communication, unreliable scheduling, disrespect for client time, payment pressure, and refusal to take accountability made this one of the most exhausting experiences we’ve ever dealt with.
